Formal, Informal Training & Agricultural extension services:
Al-Maghtas provides both formal and Informal training as well as extension services specifically to other rural farmers and other interested individuals. Our farm Management is made up by professional staffs and dedicated individuals with a passion for making an impact in the agriculture sector through management of viable agriculture investments and products value additions. We use full-time employees and hired experts on call basis.
We are also working with various out growers’ farmers group to enhance their productivity and access markets for their products.
Provision of agricultural inputs:
In a bid to support mechanization and commercialization of agriculture for improved productivity and profitability of strategic commodity value chains, Al-Maghtas Investment focuses on the preparation and distribution of farming materials, implements and inputs to farmers in the Pader, Kitgum and neighboring districts. Farming materials such as seeds (maize, beans, cassava, Chia, cowpeas, sorghum and groundnuts), agrochemicals, farming machineries and implements are provided to potential farmers directly or through government programs such as NAADS/Operation Wealth Creation (OWC).
